TV aerial installation can unfortunately be a bit of a nightmare. Some competitors can pretend to be local companies but are in fact from outside of your area, if this is the case I would ask these questions; if something goes wrong with your aerial installation how soon would your engineer call back to repair the fault? If your engineer has traveled a long distance to install your aerial will the cost of the journey be added to your bill?
I have heard some stories from customers of people being charged over £300 for an aerial installation to 1 TV point. This is massively overprice. You should usually pay only around £130 - £150 for an aerial to be install on an outside wall or chimney of your property to 1 TV point, less than this if your new TV aerial is installed in your loft/attic. I can only assume that these over inflated prices are sometimes due to the costs involved with the engineer travelling long distances to install and the possibility of unscrupulous pricing and pressure sales techniques.
At Multipoint Aerials Cardif I offer a hassle free service and a no obligation quote. Many of my customers take me up on my free quotation and will then find that my price is the best and come back to me for their TV aerial installation. I only use quality components when doing any installation be it; satellite, TV aerial, TV wall mounting or setup.
I'm also a small locally based business operating from home so don't have the large overheads of my competitors, saving you those costs I can give my customers much better value for money.
So here is the question... Do you call an engineer from an unknown location?
